"Very clean and tidy brilliant hospitality very accommodating would highly recommend would definitely stay here again if in the area"
"Im a long distance courier and when I'm in the area this is the only place I stay, the rooms áre lovely, the beds are comfortable and the food can only be described as when your mum cooks your favourite meal. I would definitely give Armadale 10/10 and I would recommend staying here"
"This is a lovely place to stay: the beds were comfy and the breakfast was tasty. The highlight by far is the proprietor: she was lovely and remembered our breakfast orders and little things we'd told her: it's clear she really takes an interest in her guests needs. She was super friendly and had great local knowledge: me and my dad really enjoyed our stay there and that enjoyment is in no small part down to Freda!"
"Great hostess- Freda. Keeping high standards of health and safety. Clean and nice rooms. Bedding and towels smelling freshly dried in the windy garden. Tasty breakfast. Close to the centre with its own car park. Highly recomended"
"We arrived quite late on our arrival day but were met with a very friendly Freda who runs the guest house. We were shown to our room which was roomy, was ensuite, pleasant, comfortable, ample room for storage with a TV and fridge. The mattress was a bit softer than we are used to but was comfy enough for us to have 2 nights of good rest. There was also a kettle with a selection of tea and coffee. There were 2 other beds in the family room, one of which had a broken frame down the bottom end of the bed but the other one was fine. There was also a hairdryer in the room for guest use. In the morning the breakfast was brilliant. All freshly cooked, full Scottish breakfast. As much toast, tea and coffee as you'll need. There was also a selection of fruit juices, cereals and other things if you wanted to splash out. The downside for us was the room facing the back of the property with some crow infested tall trees. Around 4.30am, they ALL woke up and made so much noise. The other point was the shower in the room. You had to get up quite early to get a hot shower. At all other times of the day, the shower was not hot, mainly cold or luke warm. Apart from that, a great wee place and nothing was too much trouble for Freda. A very pleasant stay."
