"Brought my dog here for the first time after recommendations from a neighbour but not sure I would return. The girl was really friendly at the desk and I'm confident my dog was well looked after while there but I just feel so incredibly rushed when trying to explain what way I want the haircut or any specifics... Feels like they are trying to rush you out of the shop! I know they're busy and can empathise with the stress of looking after multiple dogs but felt she didn't let me explain what i needed and of course, then I'm not happy with parts of the haircut when we get home... Apart from that no complaints, I honestly think its the most relaxed my dog has been when I've picked her up from any groomers so they obviously take great care in minding them! Just such a shame they don't have a receptionist who can take the time with clients... maybe I just visited at the wrong time! Bwaste of 60 euro!! Multiple friends have since commented that she looks very scruffy and like she has not been groomed at all :("
"Really happy with the service with Frankie. He's a lively spaniel and must have been a handful to get to settle. He looked great after his visit and his undercoat is still light over a week later. Noticeable difference in hair around the house too. More importantly he looked great and wasn't stressed when we picked him up."
"BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE!! I don't like to write negative reviews. However, as a dog owner and animal lover, I think it's important to warn others, just in case. This place is okay depending on who is working on the day. If you know a groomer is good and kind, then I'd recommend you ONLY leave your doggy there if you fully trust that specific groomer. I've witnessed an angry and frustrated worker banging the wall to try make dogs be silent, as they were barking in the place. My dog had his tail between his legs - something he never does as he loves people and is always friendly. He was very scared and I felt terrible for having brought my doggy there - never again, unfortunately. I have taken my doggy there a few times and groomers always mentioned how well behaved my doggy was and how much they loved my doggy. I want to be clear that this happened with one specific horrible woman only, not everyone there is like that. We all have bad days, but that kind of reaction is not normal at all, especially in a place that is supposed to look after animals. I'd advise the owner of this place to be extremely careful when hiring employees, and to make sure not to hire incompetent, impatient, agitated and temperamental people, as Glamour Dogs will cease to exist as a business. If people working there don't love dogs and get angry at barks, etc, they simply shouldn't be there. There is a big community of dog owners all around this area and we all talk to each other and share good/bad experiences. I'm saddened to have had to share this bad experience today."
