"Myself and my husbands first time here and we both agreed this is one of the best restaurants we have ever ate in! The food is out of this world, I can't even emphasise how impressed we were. Service was also top notch. We have been telling all of our friends and making a booking to go back again this week... 10/10! (If you like prawns, the crispy garlic prawns under appetizers are the nicest prawns we have ever had)"
"The food id not bad, but you can get better. It's average at best. However, I cannot believe the price. 15-25 euros for fried rice! And the portions aren't even large. Most other chinese restaurants are cheaper, serve bigger portion for almost half the price. This restaurant is charging fine dining prices for the quality of a cheaper."
"I'm sure the food is great but they don't cater for kids even though they took the booking knowing there were 6 kids in our group, we left before ordering even a drink. Disappointed with lack of information."
"i used to live beside Orchid and was a regular takeaway customer, but unfortunately our order arrived looking a lot different. For €55, the order didn’t even fill a small bag - an item was missing but even so the portion sizes are far smaller compared to a few months ago. The containers are now cardboard, but 2/3 of the size. The food itself was nice, the satay was not a great satay and the menu has also changed so I couldn’t get my usual. Really disappointing and I won’t be ordering again."
"Very good quality, authentic food. Portion sizes are smaller than average. Don’t order here if you’re looking for a typical Irish Chinese which are much heavier in general but this is the place if your emphasis is on quality over quantity and perhaps somewhat healthier option"
