"I had reviewed previously during covid pandemic and would have given 5 stars. But now it is a 2 star for the arrogance/ignorance of the manager (blonde hair/ white shirt) on Saturday 28th Jan. My brother ordered calamari with chips as a main for 32 including chips side ordered extra for 7 euro. While there was a misunderstanding, the manager treated my elderly mother inappropriately without any care for customer service. At least some concession such as knocking off the side of chips would have a better way to avoid family of 4 and their acquaintance from ever returning. Too busy getting new people on sits without care to tactfully dealing with an avoidable issue instead of saying "that's the way it is""

"Had an office Xmas party at Mario's Terenure on 30th December. Overall I think we had a good time but there were a few issues which would put us off from having our office party at the restaurant again. First of all, the seating accomodation was poor. Our party of nine had to share two tables and most of the party agreed that the dining experience was made worse because of this. Indeed we were literally 'rubbing shoulders' with each other. Secondly, the service was below what was expected. Our waitress unforunately forgot to bring us garlic bread before our course meal started, which in fairness she did apologise. She also gave three members of the party old menu's. The older menus had soup and the newer ones did not. Therefore several members of our party who wanted soup were not allowed to have it. Being honest, the service did not warrent the full 10% service charge. Despite all the issues noted above, the food and wine was by and large very good and I really appreciate that we were not rushed to leave. As mentioned, we would certainly not come back as an office party as the restaurant doesn't seem to be able to cater to a large party. Would maybe come back for lunch/dinner if I was with just one other person."

"Food was average. Had one or two communication problems where the waiter forgot our order, but overall service was standard. Staff were friendly and kind at the entrance. Standard meal variety of pasta/pizza dishes. Prices were expensive for the service recieved."

"Everything was amazing!! Staff were so friendly, they looked for a table for us when we didn’t have a booking :) Food is delicious, I have a sweet tooth and desserts are amazing, we had tiramisu and chocolate fudge (recommendation from our waiter) and it was really good!!"
