"Located inside the Maldron Hotel at the Dublin Airport. The atmosphere was quiet, the prices per normal. The service was attentive. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. We ordered: 3*Hummus medley-Caramelised onion, beetroot and Moroccan hummus medley served with pitta bread and black olives: warm pitta bread and three hummus sauces were all good. 3.5*Yaki Udon/Wok-fried Udon noodles with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, peppers and coriander: there was a selection of choices to make, and I ordered prawn. There were quite a few prawns, the portion was good. It was pretty flavorful except a bit too much soy sauce. It exceeded my expectations for an airport hotel restaurant. 4*Pan-fried hake fillet with lemon and herb crust, pea and mint risotto and rocket pesto: lemon and herb crust was crispy, tasty and delicious. Hake was tender. I would order it again."
"Good food and wine ! Very good for a hotel !"
"Surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant. I had the tempura prawns and the chicken ballotine. The food and the service were delightful."
"One of the worst restaurants I have ever been. Single child seat for the whole hotel, single member of staff front of house, who I honestly feel sorry for; took an age to order, receive food or pay the bill. The stir fried beef was tastless and so chewy as to be inedible. After the meal there was no attempt at service recovery even after issues were pointed out."
