"Had a really lovely brunch here with friends, had variations of the avocado toast and pancakes, was all delicious! Little expensive but not bad for Dublin, staff were brilliant too."
"This place is beautifully situated and the interiors are great. I loved their pancakes their coffee and the service. Not to mention their serving team is beautiful fast and very presentable. To the tall and always smiling girl that served us yesterday - thank you ❤️ may your smile never fade."
"I visited Póg in Howth recently and was very impressed. Well they have the excellent formula in Clontarf also. We arrived without a booking on a very busy Sunday afternoon. The friendly and professional server who greeted us said they were full and the kitchen was backed up. She suggested we should return in 25 to 30 minutes. 35 minutes later her colleague showed us to our table and advised that there may be a slightly longer than usual wait. There wasn't, the delicious food arrived speedily. I can strongly recommend Póg for fantastic, friendly and professional service, for excellent food, and a relaxing and chilled atmosphere."
"Went for Lunch, it was just okay. We had the pulled pork and fish tacos. Pork was dry and clumped together, shame the pork had no sauce that it was cooked in. Fish is deep fried, would prefer flaked fish on a taco but that's a preference. Chips I got were like all the small bits you get at the bottom of an air fryer, overcooked. Staff were nice but got our orders wrong, once giving our order to the wrong table and then bringing an someone else's order to our table."
"So I've given this place two chances and to be honest I should have left it at one. The first time I was very impressed with the service and coffee but finding out half the menu disappears after 12 on a Saturday and Sunday is ridiculous so didn't eat and went to the white moose for a propper feed. On my second visit things got much worse I ordered the protein pancakes which are rubberey and had a horrible texture our server have all the enthusiasm of death row prisoner and the coffee was served at too high a temperature. In my opinion this place is just middle class people trying to convince each other that this place is Good"
