"Dined on valentine's day, great welcome towards reserved seats. We had soup of the day, warm seafood platter with side salad, chips and wholemeal bread. Enjoyed tender and juicy prawns, crab cakes, calamari, mussels, monkfish and salmon skewers but found salmon was a bit off. Noticed prices had gone up too but they we're still booked out on that day. Sold on great tasty, fresh food, good service and ambiance beside a fireplace that we felt too warm after our meal."
"my Irish family took me here (back in July) for brunch because they loved Crabby Jo's but when we got there (after opening time), we were told the chef wasn't there yet. quite unprofessional in my opinion but no matter, we took another stroll & came back to be seated. we ordered & all was good & well until everyone got served except my uncle. after a while he went to ask where his food was & it was completely forgotten about. the waitress apologised & I could tell it was genuine but I don't understand how something like that could've even happened since she wrote down our full order. their food is delicious but I would've loved if he could've eaten with us since we had very limited time together."
"Pros - 1. The food was delicious. 2. The quality of the meat was fresh and extraordinary. 3. The ambience was nice. 4. The host (Maria) was really friendly and kept a check on every small little details. She was keeping the atmosphere of the restaurant fun... Cons - One of the waitress was a bit rude and seemed uninterested in serving and keeping up with the quality of the restaurant. She first denied us the table at the restaurant even tough they had few tables empty. And then when asked for luke warm water, she got really hot one. She did not enjoy serving us probable :/"
"We have been here many times before and used to recommend the place. The food is good in general. However the fact that the service charge is nowhere listed on the menu and is higher than average, takes a lot off the reputation. It was a very bad surprise at the end. I don't mind leaving a tip at all, and in fact I always do when it is due and justified, but I don't like this, when it is forced and high. You got a nice service charge this way, but probably lost a handful of returning customers. Is it worth it? You decide. It used to be a better place with better values. Sad."
