Our Avondale Training Centre, located at Avondale Primary School on Crayford Street West, opened its doors in May 2021, offering a convenient location for our students. Situated next to the Avondale Train Station with bus stops just a 2-minute walk away, accessibility is never an issue.

Catering to the entire Wanganui region, including suburbs such as Patea, Waverley, Turakina, Whangaehu, and Marton, our club is committed to serving the wider district. We conduct our training sessions at the Tairangi School hall, which provides ample off-street parking, cozy heating during winter, and a spacious training area. Additionally, we have outdoor spaces available for those times when we want to add some variety to our training routine.

At Johnsonville NPC, we offer training programs for three different age groups: PeeWee (4-6 years), Children (7-12 years), and Teen/Adult (13 years and above). Our venue boasts a large training area and an outdoor space, ensuring that our students have plenty of room to practice and develop their skills. We proudly serve the communities of Newtown, Brooklyn, Wellington Central, Kelburn, Kilbirnie, Berhampore, Island Bay, and Lyall Bay.

The lineage of Shaolin Kung Fu is deeply rooted in the Shaolin temple in Northern China, with its origins traced back to Bodhidharma and the Shaolin monks. Over the course of 1500 years, Shaolin Kung Fu has evolved and given rise to various styles. Our tradition stems from Seh Koh San, a monk from Fujian belonging to the Southern Shaolin tradition and the Chief Abbot of Siong Lim temple in Singapore.
