"Friendly staff who are more then willing to help, very reasonable prices for fresh produce. I would definitely highly recommend to anyone."
"Customers must check there receipt. Otherwise, they will scan same item twice or charge more by clicking wrong item. 1. They scaned one item twice. 2. They charged me $30 for mushrooms which was $1.87. 3. They charged me $9.9/kg for nectarines which was 5.99/kg. It was the first time to visit there today, and these things happened. I was supposed to pay $46.30, but they charged me $82.15. I cannot understand how it happens in one visit. If I didn’t pay attention on the receipt, I had to pay the wrong amount. This was ridiculous experience."
"Racist owner, have seen him occasionally and all I hear is abuse towards the staff and degrading language towards multicultural shoppers - put on accents and all. Only giving two stars as the fruit I purchased lasted a while. Will be shopping at Ziggys next time."
"This is absolutely my favourite produce store in Canberra. They always have the best stuff, really cheap, and you never need to wait long in line because there's heaps of staff. A delight to shop there."
"I was with my wife at the fresh food markets today around 4pm when I heard a man from Tom's superfruits yell out bitter melon for sale- 2 for $1. There appeared to be a lot of Asian people around waiting for them to be bagged up from a box. The customers kept giving the man two to bag up until another man watching from the side (The same guy who yelled out) said "Dont sell anymore" the man than took the box away and told those people if they wanted to buy them it would cost them $20 for the leftover ones. There was 6 or 7 left in the box. I see this as terrible customer service. The person was either being very racist or was trying to scam people. As I think he jacked the price up to $20 which costs more than the original price of the items I don't think he wanted to scam anyone. I was quite pissed off and decided to leave the markets straight away not buying anything and leaving with a bad mood."
