"Fab stay in the family room 207. We will definitely be back. Location is superb. Car park is very handy. We made a lot of use of the pool!! Honestly can say every member of staff we dealt with were so friendly and helpful. My only comment/suggestion is that a family room needs a fridge. My son drinks a lot of milk so a fridge in the room would have been ideal. I was always accommodated when I ask staff to fill up his bottle, but a fridge in the room would have been easier. Can't wait to come back. Well done Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel."

"SUPER comfortable beds! Wow. Great bar & restaurant. Staff was really friendly. The only downside I experienced was when I ventured out and found some takeout, we returned to eat the food and we were not allowed to sit at some of the tables in the lobby."

"We have stayed here numerous times. Mags (a fantastic lady, full of energy, enthusiasm and chat) in the breakfast room even remembered our faces this time after nearly 2 years. They upgraded us, as a courtesy, when the type of room we wanted was booked out. Never disappoints."

"We were there 2 days 9/17 and 9/18/22. We were 3 people in 2 rooms. We parked in their adjacent carpark on a high floor as there is no adjacent or easy parking and then dragged our luggage out and up the hill to the lobby.One of our first rooms toilet did not work and the rooms were dingy and badly in need of updating . I immediately checked what kind of room I booked ( online without checking reviews) and went down to talk to management to change rooms .We did get a better bathroom and higher ceilings so they seemed larger.Thank you Bruno. So much is wrong here, We tried to make coffee and tea and both teapots were caked with minerals from the water , easily cleaned by boiling with vinegar.A manager Ross was unable to give us clean teapots, so brought us tea and coffee and enough vinegar packets so we were able to clean the pots ourselves. The lobby furniture was shabby and one couch was split open with visible stuffing. The breakfast was only buffet which was included in our room price but poor quality, little assortment and the hot food was doled out by a staff person. Rooms were not cleaned for hours . We left in the morning informed the housekeeping staff and by late afternoon still not cleaned. Other rooms who left room service trays in the hall were left there for hours. Oh and the lights were on 1 circuit- Turn 1 off and they all turn off .In one of our rooms the teapot blew the breaker. I honestly wondered beyond lack of staff if the hotel was near bankruptcy. I did a review on their site which they did not post.. A tall handsome man with silver hair did help us with our luggage to the car park."
