"Provided us with the wrong advice - told us we needed a new appliance or buy an expensive part at the same cost. After buying a new inbuilt microwave, we encountered the same problem with the new machine so we asked an electrician to visit. One short visit later problem solved. Unfortunately relied upon their advice and disposed of the old microwave buying a brand new one for no reason at all. Contacted JP Appliances for comment and their response was that despite the new and old machine showing the same issue there was no way of knowing if it was the machine or not - completely unprofessional. Admit when you are wrong! They said they would refund us 50% cost of the visit and that was over 5 months ago - still waiting."
"Aggressive, rude and unprofessional, Shocking company. The Director of this company Jason Dumper really does need to take a step back and learn a thing or two about customer service and professionalism. This company turned up without confirming they would attend. They bullied our housekeeping team to paying them on the spot saying the problem was fixed so they complied due to the aggressive attitude. The problem was checked once left and it was not in fact repaired. We then got another provider to repair the issue and pursued for reimbursement, they wanted to see an invoice from the company we used to repair, as the repair was a warranty repair no invoice was provided. Having gone back and forth with Jason we decided to stop pursuing as it was clear he was not interested in giving us a reibursement despite the multiple failtures. I would never use this comapny again and recommend that those especially vulnerable people avoid at all costs."
"I would not recommend this company. My Saga started Friday 6th April 2018 when our washing machine was diagnosed with needing a new drain pump. I was told it would be fitted the following Tuesday. Then got told that the part wouldn’t be in by then so it was booked for Thursday 19th April. That day came and I explained I had school pick up at 3pm so if engineer came please call to let me know as I was 5 minutes away. They just stuck a card through the door, even though the builders on site could have let them in. They arranged for someone to pop out on Saturday morning to do the repair. It didn’t take long, I paid my money and he left. Phoned them back within the hour as I put a wash on and the drain problem remained. Not heard back from them since! Phoned and emailed but they are ignoring me. My advice: DO NOT USE this company. I have paid a large amount of money and now have to start with someone else. Dodgy to say the least. Trading standards have been notified."
"Great initial service - came out next day but engineer diagnosed a fault with the plumbing and told my husband and son they could get parts and fix it themselves. Stupid advice. When the followed his instructions and removed the hose, the water came out at mains pressure and flooded the utility room so we had to get an emergency plumber to come out. The fault on the machine was not fixed after the plumbing was sorted so JP Appliances returned and charged for a new part and left. The machine is still not working and is showing the same error code we had when we called them out. We have paid JP Appliances almost £100 plus the emergency plumbing cost and now they are not responding to any texts of calls. We are disputing our payment with Visa and posting this review. They dont know what they are doing, dont return calls, give bad advice, charge for useless work. Wish I'd known this before I called them - dont make my mistake."
"Had an engineer????? come out to check my mothers Indesit washing machine which had stopped working after power cuts during the last storm. Diagnosis was main PCB board blown which they could replace at a cost of £200+ or they could do a "deal" on a new machine. I asked the question on a forum I belong to and had assistance from a couple of senior engineers who told me that the first thing they check is the heater and moulded plug .. Guess what? it was the plug which any competent engineer should have picked up. I called them up to see if I could get the call out charge refunded and received nothing but abuse from the person who answered the phone. Seems to me that all this company want is your money .. I would recommend looking elsewhere and avoid this company like the plague. I would have given them no stars but I had to give one to be able to post this. I wonder how long this will stay up?? Just reading through the other reviews on here for JPAppliances .. The company is owned by one Jason Dumper .. anything look a bit out of place to anyone else?"
