"EDITED: I can’t upload my invoice here, but comically my invoice is addressed to MR NICOLA VAUHGAN which is why you are unable to find me on your records (if you searched at all). Happy to send this through to a customer service email. Not impressed and won’t be returning to this garage. Booked my car in for an MOT last Friday, I wasn’t given a time slot and was just told to bring it in first thing. After me phoning in the afternoon to see when my car would be ready to collect, I was given excuses about the MOT ramp not working and so there was a delay. After phoning just before they closed, I was told they hadn’t been able to complete my MOT and that my car would be ready the following morning. I was phoned at 9:45 the next morning, and was told that my car had failed on a back tyre that needed repairing. They said that I’d need to collect the car, take it to the local tyre shop round the corner and have it back to Mr Clutch by 11am in order for them to redo the MOT as they closed at 12 (it says on Google they don’t close until 5:30pm which I found strange). My other half got down to the garage, managed to get the tyre sorted quickly thanks to the excellent tyre shop, and got it back to Mr Clutch in time. A guy at Mr Clutch then drove the car away to my other half’s surprise! When he returned he asked where they’d taken our car and he confessed that they outsource their MOTs to another garage (ATR Motors - this is also listed on our receipt). We weren’t advised upon booking that this work would be outsourced, which I feel is very misleading to customers. I have no idea as to the reputation of ATR Motors, and chose Mr Clutch based on their name and reputation. To receive an MOT from a third party isn’t what we signed up for, and at no point did we receive an apology throughout this experience from Mr Clutch for this not being made clear. Customer service was poor in general and we won’t be returning to this garage, despite being regular customers for a number of years."

"The team there saw my car immediately after a 2 minute phone call and sorted everything out in under an hour. No messing around and didn't try to pull one over me, even after having been to 2 garages the same day. Very good service!!"

"I took my car yesterday for a service and two repairs, they couldn't fix one of the repairs but they said that they fixed the other, unfortunately I trusted them and I didn't check, this morning I realized that they didn't. They never called me to go and collect the car although it was ready, and when I arrived the lead mechanic gave me a receipt and I had to repeatedly ask him about what they did to my car where I got a halfhearted response like I was a nuisance. I am discussed, I was taking my cars to their garage for the past 6 years, never again.. Stay away at any cost, Frankly, I don't even know if they did the service.."

"My son had his car booked in today while he was on hols....no one was there to take car all closed up. Other people showed up to drop cars off an returned only to have it still not touched...another couple has had their car there for almost 2 weeks an cant get their car back. As no one around...not sure what is going on but we are going else where. O stars ."

"Used to use regularly and was very happy but since change of staff/ownership at end of 2021 has gone down hill. Used end 2021 for MOT and full service, car passed with no issues except it broke down 2 minutes up the road and Mr Clutch had closed up when we walked back. Had to call breakdown service to be rescued as car completely died on very dangerous corner. Should have learnt our lesson but used again this week. Was promised car would be ready by 2 for school run phine before collection and no work had been started. Notified at 4.30 wrong part had been delivered, by which time we'd left to walk and collect the car and they hadn't bothered to do the other work (air con re-gad) which could have been completed in the mean time. Wasted 1.5 hours walking back and forth and no work done all day. Absolutely stinking attitude from staff and no accountability taken. Will not be using again"
