"My wife booked our car in to have a diagnostic run and fix the issue with the tpms sensors which had caused it to fail the MOT. Then took the car in this morning just after 9am as informed this was a good time to look at it. Come 11:30am she rang the garage and was told it hadn't been looked at yet and wouldn't be till after 1pm due to MOTs booked. NOT what she was told on Saturday morning at the time of booking. My wife explained she had been waiting and that she had to be able to collect our child from school at 3pm and that this was not very well communicated prior. The woman on the phone said if my wife didn't like it she can come and get her key's. Shocking service from this business that we've used for the last few years. My wife collected the keys and said she was not impressed but he woman just gave the keys and went back in the office and shut the door. Awful customer service"
"I brought my car here for a general repair. To save time, i provided the garage with several photos of the problem, an email and yet it got to a week down the line, no parts had been ordered and no work done despite the assurance that the work would be done in good time. Fast forward to today and i received a very rude and factually incorrect voicemail berating me for not returning calls. I went back to the garage with the view of cutting my losses and taking the car elsewhere. I was in a rush to get back to work so made clear that i needed the key because i am very pushed for time. I asked this lady 4 times for my key and each time she refused saying that she wants to get her point across to me to which she was told that i don't have time to stand here and talk about it, i need to go so i can get this sorted elsewhere. I was in total disbelief that this lady then got up off of her chair, came into my personal space and began to berate me about her husband passing away and how i have absolutely no compassion - Why would i know this? I don't have an intimate relationship with my garage and their staff so i found this attack not only to be unprofessional but also very personal. I go to my garage to have my car fixed, not to have someone personally attack me because of something that has happened in their personal life. I understand that losing someone you love is deeply upsetting however as a business, you have to be able to separate that and not use it to justify why you have not done the work that you committed to doing. I definitely won't be back, if i did this to a customer in my job, i would be in line for sacking. Personally attacking your customers is NOT ok."
