"Still waiting on our refund after you Cancelled on us....... 3 years later."
"I give them one star because I can't give them less than that, the mattress was dirty and in horrible condition, the furniture when you sat down sank as if it was broken, the shower was dirty and in horrible condition."
"Worst experience I have ever had while travelling. Quality of the furnishing was appalling, rooms were much smaller than advertised and the whole apartment was filthy. We not only complained to the company but also to the Irish tourism board. We got nowhere with both. Terrible experience and would highly recommend you avoid at all costs."
"Absolutely worst service! Be ready to wait past 4pm to check in. Staff is rude and not helpful at all. Small lobby area that will be crowded with people waiting to check in as they refuse to let people in before 4pm but gets worse, the actual apartments are not at same location as reception. After 4pm you'll sit around and wait the ONE "check in agent" to show up and walk you to the actual location. When you book it says 5 crow street NOT TRUE!! The building is NOT there not even down the block!! It was a 10, 15min walk (its Dublin so obviously was raining) and we arrived soaked to this mysterious building. Oh, and NO ELEVATORS either, it was a 4th floor walkup. Now, seriously? BTW, its non refundable that's how they get you! We complained about location fake advertising and their answer? "Send us an email & we'll forward to management." Yeah thats Ridiculous! What a great customer service LOL Furniture is old and dirty, see picture of stained chairs, GROSS!!! Now, lets talk about waste of time! Rooms need renovations all around... bottom line stay away People waiting outside to be escorted to their rooms. I also posted pictures of the disgusting furniture ...."
"Stayed here for 5 days in Temple Bar location. Although we couldn't fault the central location of the apartment we were very let down by the apartment itself. Upon arrival the apartment was extremely warm, we were showed around by the member of staff who showed us the apartment and familiarised us with the facilities. After a few hours, we tried to turn down a few radiators around the apartment, only to be able to control the temperature on the bathroom radiator, the rest seemed to be stuck at full. When looking around apartment closely, it felt very tired. Lots of marks and scratches on walls, half of the lights in the living room didn't work, the ones that did let out a very loud and constant humming so were left with just one single lamp as the light source. The window in the living was smashed and covered up with some sort of sticky back plastic! There was no tea towel provided in the kitchen and only one hand towel for the bathroom which became our kitchen towel. After attempting to sleep in the bedroom the first night, we moved the mattress to the living room floor. The noise in the bedroom from the street outside was one thing (i appreciate we chose a central location but absolutely no attempt had been made to soundproof the door that opened to the street with a guard rail) but the sheer heat in there was another. The radiator was stuck pumping out full heat regardless of which way we turned the knobs. There was also a huge tank in one of the wardrobes that was so warm it heated our clothes hanging in the adjoining wardrobe. After moving the mattress we discovered used ear plugs on the bed base (clearing the previous occupants had the same issue). However, all this being said, we persevered with the apartment, being thankful for its central location. When we used the shower the following day, we discovered the extractor fan not to being working, which was placed directly above the shower (switch and all!) By this point we very much felt 'oh well just another thing' After the five days, we came to check out. We were asked the usual 'how was your stay?' I replied with 'fine, but we were pretty disappointed by a few things' and went on to list the issues we had faced. The guy advised that if i called and reported they could have got the heating and extractor fan working and that they don't provide tea towels in the kitchen as 'they don't want people washing up'. We were there 5 days so had no choice and why provide washing up liquid and sponges if not to be used?? I told the reception guy that we dealt with the problems but weren't happy to leave without informing them how disappointed we were. All we received was a simple 'sorry' not gesture of goodwill to make up for the sting of paying €850 for well below average accommodation. We then enquired about bus tickets to the airport and were advised they would only accept cash and these were €7 each. Silly me for thinking they may offer these to us free of charge?! So all in all a definite 2 star stay. We were also taken aback by the request of a security deposit of €200. Upon booking the stay we were advised that a deposit of €50 per person would be required, seems reasonable? However, only 2 days before our stay i received an email to 'remind' me that a deposit of €200 would be required. When i questioned this i received a one sentence reply of 'we have changed our security deposit policies' Luckily this was never debited from us. I would not choose to stay with Key Collections again."
