"Today I went to get some information about the possibility to my friends stay here for a weekend and the woman from the evening was very rude to me and made me feel completely uncomfortable. Its a same because our family stayed twice and they were really happy with the attention but a good place don’t should have people that don’t offer a good experience in the customer."
"Okay hotel, terrible customer service. My booking dates were moved without my knowledge or consent. When I tried to redeem the nights at a later date, I found that the rates were increased. I was forced to either pay 90 euro extra for 3 nights or stay only 2 nights. I chose the 2 nights, but I was even unable to get a refund on the difference between the increased 2 night cost and the original booking. Moral of the story is to never do an advanced booking with Townhouse Hotel Dublin. Once they get their money, they don't seem to care how customers are treated."
"Quality wise...probably deserves 2 stars. The bathroom was barely clean..mold in the shower, on the floor in the corners. Besides that it was ok. The hotel was old school..some classic paintings and a neat lounge area (could use new pillows and couches though). The reason it has four stars is for the wonderful gentlemen at the front desk...was super helpful and made some great suggestions on where to go."
"Great place. Sorted us out after our other accomodation let us down when we arrived this weekend in dublin. Lovely rooms and breakfast. Recomend to anyone"
"Great Staff and great location. We arrived early and the staff was more than happy to hold our luggage. Our room was small, no AC, but weather was nice and our windows opened. We were overlooking their garden, so not much street noise but the birds were loud and on Friday night we could hear some pub band all night. If you booked via their web site the breakfast was free otherwise you paid. The meal was filling and OK."
