"Had lunch here today. Perfect. Staff lovely , food delicious . Going back for dinner soon. Well done to all . At last somewhere decent in Naas to eat and relax."
"Myself and my wife paid a visit to The Club at Goffs recently and there was an air of excitement as we entered as it had only opened 3 weeks before and the newness was all around. We were excited too at the prospect of eating food which would be prepared by the Michelin starred chef, Derry Clarke and ably assisted by his wife Sallyanne. When we ate on the Saturday eve. Sallyanne was the master of ceremonies who orchestrated the staff who attended to all of the 150 diners there on that night. She couldn't have been more professional and attentive to us all. It was a nice touch too when, after breakfast the next morning, Derry himself came out and spoke to everyone in attendance. As to the food itself, it was high class quisine befitting of its hallowed host and well presented. Unfortunately, my wife's mains arrived cold and had to be sent back. On the following morning, my porridge too was cold and had to be returned also. However, the staff were very understanding and unfailingly polite which made all the difference. Our room was lovely and decorated in a retro style which was very pleasing to the eye. As there is a " horsey" theme to the hotel, it will look very well when it's landscaped all around and there will be paddocks aplenty I'm told. There are plans afoot to build a conference building and some more improvements to make this fine hotel a truly impressive addition to the Kildare hotel stock. In short, much done but more to do, but we will definitely be back."
"Welcoming staff but the food was unfortunately really bad for us. A crab sandwich that lacked everything, flavour and presentation for a high price.. The butternut squash soup was flavourful but it had bits in it that was indigestible and had to be picked out of one’s mouth. Not what you expect from a place like this. It’s not a place I’d like to go beck to at all unfortunately."
"Stayed here last Monday (the 6th). From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out the staff members of The Club at Goffs made us feel so welcome. From bringing us to our room, the small treats in the room on check in, to the service in the restaurant for dinner and for breakfast the next morning. It was top notch!! Food delish, had a 3 course dinner in the restaurant which was fab, and the breakfast was delicious, i had the pancakes :) Cant wait to come back again!"
"Wow what can I say. Amazing girls at reception went above and beyond for us. The rooms were spotless clean with such lovely complimentary treats. The hand written notes were such a cute touch. The breakfest delivered to the room was the best hotel breakfest I've ever had. 10/10. Wish I could rate this hotel higher. Best one I've stayed at in Ireland hands down. Nothing was too much bother for the reception girls. They deserve a raise."
