"Family run hotel and it showed by the attention to detail. No global hotel chain marketing spoof here. Great service, great food great entertainment, fantastic lighting in the grounds and most of all, staff could not do enough for you. If you want a memorable wedding ceremony and celebration location second to none, look no further."
"Wow! What an amazing wedding venue. Had the pleasure of working at The Station House last year and the venue blew me away. Outdoor ceremony in the middle of the Irish winter is a joy to behold. I look forward to returning and would really recommend for a small intimate wedding. Daragh"
"I've been fortunate enough to photograph several weddings at The Station House - it really is a gem of a wedding venue. The staff couldn't be nicer. The turntable is a STUNNING location for an outdoor ceremony, really one of the best in the country. Really looking forward to returning this year to photograph more gorgeous weddings here."
"Great location. Beautiful place at night. We 4 frequented the Restaurant only so unable to comment on rooms. Great service and well presented food. 3 course meal for each of us & best food we had for a long time. Every dish on the menu was a winner. Staff were attentive, and we were not rushed. These guys know their business.."
"The one star is for the staff who were great except front desk. Was here last month for a wedding, I was the best man. We get there they put 2 single groomsman in a mini double bed. I lay down on my stomach there was about a foot of room for anyone else to try and sleep on, so they said they will move us, that didn't happen. Then they said the best they could do is put a fold out bed in there, not great but at least it was something. We'll they sent down a 5 foot torture rack, I'm 6ft4 16 stone this thing they sent down was for kids. They didn't even give me a duvet, just two tiny arm chair throws that didn't cover me, I had to cover my legs with one and my upper body with the other if of gotten more warmth from two rain coats. The room were freezing coupled with the bed situation around 3am I had to leave the room and sleep in the car. The rooms were colder inside than the temperature outside. And the bar and food is fairly highly priced. Was charged €3.40 from the bar for a dash of mi wadi. I would highly recommend you not go anywhere near this place. You might have a great time as bride and groom but your guests won't. I honestly should of cancelled the room charge €380 for 2 nights to sleep on the floor."
