Reviews
"Just back from a two night stay at the Louis Fitzgerald. A fabulous hotel. So clean and warm. Housekeeping were exceptional and looked after us. Reception ladies were so friendly and kind to us. Breakfast was so nice too. We ate at night in Joel's Restaurant at the entrance to Hotel. Unreal also. Would highly recommend this Hotel. Well done to you all."
"Really easy to get to. We actually turned up to go Joel's but there was a 45 minute wait so we decided to go in here instead. Relaxed atmosphere, no wild kids on the loose and pleasant staff. The food was really good. We had a roast, noodles, Caesar salad and a burger which were served super fast and fresh. Everyone finished there plates We chose here as a quick alternative but left pleasantly surprised. One issue is immediate parking outside was difficult but there is additional parking to the rear."
"Lovely bright room on top floor. Warm and cosy. Lovely foyer and free parking a plus. However, bar service a disaster. 6 people behind the short counter and No one serving. Queues forming due to a function on. Duty manager told us I 'll serve you when I'm ready as we stood there for 10 minutes. Guinness dreadful. No excuse in Dublin for that. Heineken dreadful. Breakfast staff lovely but skill mix bad. We were not offered any choices only what we saw No menu on view. I overheard another couple being told about pancakes, porridge and omelettes being on the menu. Overall could have been better so we 'll know better for the next time."
"Excellent hotel with superbly hospitable staff - Stay was for 3 nights and was wonderful. ROSITA, Katherine, Constance and all of the staff members, breakfast crew, and housekeeping that we encountered were helpful, personable and really made this stay a pleasure. Although the hotel is really not right in the center of town - there is public and private transportation making it more value. The breakfast is a full Irish breakfast and very tasty. The room was quiet, clean, and tidy."
"Mediocre hotel. Good free parking, if a little snug in the level -1 area. Staff are very polite. Room is adequate with good firm bed and master light switch by the bed. Tea and coffee with biscuits but no fridge. Shower was ridiculously inadequate and over a narrow, round bottom bath with no grip. Most of the water landed on a shelf and hot water took ages to get hot (Room 24). Breakfast is good but it can take a while for the coffee/tea to arrive"
