"Booked for dinner but decided to also have lunch there. Was seated, and then asked to move (no comp for moving). Then was seated between 2 loud groups. We ordered quick and food came quick, but that was the end of the service. Never came near us again, even though we were waving and trying to get their attention. Waitress looked at our empty plates several times and never took them, even when we finally got her to stop there. Never asked us if we wanted more drinks or dessert. Sat for a long time after finishing our drinks and food. We cancelled our dinner, which we were looking forward to on our last evening in Ireland. Too bad, because the food was really good."
"Loved this Hotel. Went to the bar specifically and even during a super busy weekend we were able to find a place to sit. The decor is very unique and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend this pub if you’re in Dublin and especially if you’re on your way to the stadium for a game."
"We ate at the Schoolhouse on a Monday evening and it was still busy. The food was very well prepared and presented. I had the special, which was beef cheeks. They were cooked to perfection and the flavour was amazing. I also recommend the "black pudding scotch eggs". As a black pudding lover I can say they were top class. An altogether great meal and highly recommended."
"Had a lunch with my family there today. We were delighted with our burgers. That was the best burger that I had here in Ireland! Loved chips too. Nice restaurant with comfy feeling, staff are nice and professional. Definitely coming back."
"Stopped in on day of Ireland v Springboks it was busy but under control due to the fact that’s well run and staff are well organized and polite. Ordered a vegetarian cannelloni it was excellent and considering the day that was in it we were thrilled to get such a hearty meal."
