"I booked a room with this townhouse at a very competitive price for dublin since it was officially listed as an option via Booking. I was then contacted aweek later by the place saying that the rate was incorrect and entered by mistake by them. The admitted the mistake and offered me an option to change the booking at a full rate of 140 euro.....over 100 euro more compared to my booking . They didn't apologise for the mistake, didn't offer a compromose rate and not even keen to match the other rates available when i originally booked which were in the 80 euro range. Just asked me to either cancel or pay full price. !! Typical Dublin customer care sadly! So stay away and for that price just book yourself a nice room in a 4 star hotel instead of a Townhouse!! plenty of other options nearby"
"It's a value driven service model. Nothing fancy. Everything was good. No fancy lobby, no lift, no bar or gym. That's was fine. Lovely breakfast in an excellent location."
"Overpriced for a b&b in the middle of no where. We came from Malta in September so the nights were cold. Asked if we could have the heating on and they told us we don’t put it on until the winter? Seriously? Extra blankets not available, only sheets! Probably because every other room needed them. It was so cold at night we were shivering. I ended up leaving with a throat infection. It’s a pity because the staff were friendly and the breakfast very good. Management please consider changing your ridiculous policy about heating only in Winter. Towels for shower were tiny, you’d need three of them to dry off properly. Wont be staying here again because of this."
"This is a nice bed and breakfast located south of downtown. It's about 40 minutes away walking from the city center, 15 minutes by taxi. Although it's not so close to main attractions, it's a quiet place to rest and feels like home. Rooms are fairly small but they're quiet and comfortable. If you opt in for breakfast there are 3 options: continental, Irish or porridge, all three are tasty. Service was very friendly and they were helpful with directions and information about bus tickets."
"Very helpful front desk attendant, and beautiful building in a very nice area of Dublin! Price was reasonable for a short stay. Style of the townhouse is very close to original with modern updates as necessary. Room is a decent size, with beautiful tall, drawn curtains and very comfortable bed. Four stars and not five due to off-putting odor in the bathroom upon arrival. Breakfast had cereal, bread, and juices with option of upgrade to an Irish breakfast for an extra cost. Definitely would recommend the townhouse for a stay in Dublin!"
