"The b&b was OK. The room was nice and tidy and they even went in and gave fresh towels on my second day. The service from the reception is left to be desired though. Great location being very central."
"The rooms and carpet stinks, no cleaning services. No hairdryer in the room. They don’t care for cleaning services. Horrible if you have allergies. Definitely it doesn’t worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. If you need only 1 night consider this place the last, it’s better to sleep in your car."
"The price was the best part of this stay. The staff were also helpful helping us catch public transportation to the airport. However, we didn't think it was too centrally located – it was a bit of a walk / public transit journey from the proper center of town, though there were some nearby gems like Mema's you should check out. Our room was quite small and had a nasty overhead light. The hot water was out while we were there, though they did acknowledge it on our way out later that night. But 175 euros for two nights is the cheapest you'll get in Dublin these days."
"The guesthouse is conveniently situated near many tourist sites, means of transport and shops. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The room and en-suite bathroom was clean. We found, however, that the heating wasn't very effective and there were loud TV and talking noises coming from below our room. It might be the owners' lounge, below the twin room, up the stairs to the left, where we stayed. I don't think the noise would affect the other rooms. Good value for money."
"Go anywhere else! Liked - Man at reception was nice. Bed was comfortable. Teabags, little things of milk and sugar and a clean kettle. Small tv worked and wifi worked. Disliked/Cons: Unable to sleep as woken up every 30/40 mins by the door rattling and opening and the bright lights at random times from outside. The door was not the modern hotel type door. Every time someone from another room opened their door, our door rattled aggressively like someone was trying to break in. This meant we were woken up more than once an hour and it was quite scary. We placed a chair up against the door. Our room faced back onto the smoking area. Every time someone would use that area a bright light would turn on and illuminate our room (the blinds were not blackout and were thin). The adjoining room had an alarm going off for 40 mins during the night and the walls were so thin, that you thought it was in your room. Empty tea bag sachets in bed side drawer, obviously not cleaned thoroughly enough. Extractor fan in bathroom was filthy and full of fluff, once you look at it you really don't want to be in the bathroom for long because it does not look like it is good for your health. Not a good area if you can avoid. Seems safe enough during the day but wouldn't want to be walking around at night. Paid €160 for one night which is absolutely crazy. It was a lot cheaper than most places by comparison but still extraordinarily high for the location and quality of accommodation. No breakfast included, it would be an additional 10€ per person. We did not avail as we just wanted to get out safely."
