"Ideal base for exploring the heart of the city of Dublin. Just a stones throw away from the river and the hustle and bustle of local shops and pubs. If you like basic accommodation without any frills or even thrills this is the place for you. You have your own key to the front door and room, if in a private room. Yes the place could do with a refurbishment as some of the pictures on the website are dated. But if its basic, cheap and somewhere where you can base yourself and not need any transport then id say its ideal. 1 bonus of my stay in the month of December, was the private room had heating! A life saver on cold nights in Ireland! I didn't get any noise from the street but any noise i heard late at night was from some of the other residents banging doors at all times of the night. There is decent FREE WIFI and you an come and go as you please. I didn't think the bathrooms were dirty and looked reasonably clean, any mess was made by residents (id hate to see how they live at home)"
"Ravi was really nice and helpful. He recommended many places and kept our luggage safe! The location is perfect, it’s in the middle of temple bar. The staff is the best and Ravi went above and beyond!!!!!"
"It’s not the cleanest hostel you’ll see, but it’s in the city center and if you only need a place to sleep, it’ll do. The downsides are definitely the uncomfortable beds, poorly insulated windows and the dirty bathrooms. Sometimes the water wouldn’t come out of the tap and taking a shower with hot water also became an issue at some point. There are quite a few people outside the hostel that urinate right next to the entrance, which the staff can’t do much about as the hostel is located within a very lively pub area, but you can smell it almost everywhere inside the hostel. Our room was tiny (just enough for two people), but it did come with clean bedding and a radiator that worked. Staff was also friendly. All in all, just lower your usual standards if you decide to visit and you’ll be "ok"."
"The stay was superb. We stayed in a 2 beds room, it was clean and large enough for 2 people. Also, the bathroom and shower service was clean. The check-in process was good even if we were late. The position was comfortable, in the city center and near a market. Totally recommended!"
"I’m not one for reviews ordinarily, but I just need to make sure others don’t make the same mistake. If you don’t like sleep or you back, this is a good place to be. You can feel the entire metal frame through the mattress, the windows are thin and allow cigarette smoke inside despite being “closed”. It’s right inside the temple bar district, which sounds convenient, but it won’t get “quiet” until around 4 am. The wifi does not work anywhere except barely at the front desk. The window curtains don’t block the whole window. The price is nice and the staff is friendly. But those are the only good things. Absolutely worth the extra money to go somewhere else. Rest in peace my back…"
