"Lovely campsite. Very, very friendly and accommodating lady answered the phone. We wanted to arrive late on Friday after I got out of work. We intended to stay on the other side of the city, but the reception we received there on the phone was rude and disinterested, not to mention that they wanted more money just to check in at 9pm. Decided to try lynders, and honestly, I have to say it was great. The lady was very friendly, there's was no problem at all with arrival time, access to it is great, we have quite a big caravan and towing vehicle, easy to get to and easy access. Grass pitches are some of the largest I've seen. Facilities are spotless, and Portrane and Donabate itself is a really nice area. Cliff walk is stunning as it is the views from the site. We will be back this year at some point as there's more we want to do up there"
"Best camping experience during a biking trip that I ever had including France and Portugal ! I have never felt so welcome. The woman who took care of us was the nicest and the most helpful. The location of the camping is really good ! Right next to the beach, super quiet, near the center city. The tenting area isn’t so huge so we don’t feel overwhelmed. I would definitely recommend this camping for a long stay as it delivers family vibes. The facilities are admirably clean ! A warm thank you !!!"
"Stayed here for 2 nights and 100% will be back again. It’s spotless with such nice staff. You have your own private beach with a lovely pub and takeaway just a walk away. Cliff walk from entrance brings you to more gorgeous beaches. Definitely a hidden gem."
"I have just returned home today from a 30 day stay in this wonderful campsite, it and portrane are a very well kept secret outside of Dublin . Our stay was different to everyone else as it solved a problem for us as our daughter needed surgery in Beaumont and we couldn’t afford a month long hotel or B&B stay , we originally as per the way the booking system worked booked for 2 weeks and had to extend this 3 times which knows our circumstances was done each time with a smile by the fabulous Stephanie an asset to any business , The camp itself is fab loads of well proportioned bays for campers and caravans , a fine big tent field cool glamming pods and modern mobile homes , great facilities, the upkeep of which is excellent and beautifully landscaped , I used the washing machines and showers more then most and this was a blessing for us , the views and beaches are lovely here , seal watching in the evening a nice pastime , the campsite is very convenient to the motorway so ideal for day trip with train links in nearby donabate , we made some lovely friends both human and four legged ( dogs being welcome ) All in all in what was the toughest month of our lives this place and it’s people made our lives a little brighter and we can never thank them enough . Liz"
