Reviews
"Subpar, cheaply furnished rooms were the highlight of the stay. Parking requires you to borrow and immediately return a fob to enter or leave the car park (once you've found the car park that is) and the car park itself was incredibly tight while also poorly lit with motion activated lights that didn't come one until you were walking in darkness. Check in wasn't until 4pm but could be brought forward 2hrs for £20 per hour! Check out was an issue as no one could be found at reception. They do have an express checkout deposit box but we needed a fob to leave the car park! All in all, not a stay I shall be repeating."
"Was unable to stay the night we had planned (super grateful after reading the reviews now) was told I could pay a cancellation fee by one person and then told by another person I couldn't so lost my money. Then to be harassed constantly with emails asking me to review my stay. So here is my review, absolutely and undoubtedly do not stay here."
"Terrible service. Acceptable rooms. They will take a damage deposit and won't return it as promised. Overall you'll pay £100 extra for nothing and the stay will be below standard. Would Generally advise not to stay here. They do offer certain perks such as breakfast or a full fridge but it's not actually possible to add them on. Just don't stay here. Better off at one of the Premier Inn's which are within walking distance, have better rooms and service; and are far cheaper."
"We had booked an apartment for four of us this weekend. We turned up to be told the room wasn’t available and had been booked by someone else. We had actually rang up the day before to confirm our booking and has been told by a woman that the booking was confirmed and she would see us tomorrow. We were left with no accommodation on a busy Saturday night and they weren’t very apologetic or helpful. Seems to be a trend from these apartments, I wish we read the reviews before we trusted to book it. We will be avoiding these in future. They said they would never have confirmed the booking the day before and would have to internally look into it."
"Cheap, nasty cash grab. If you’re on a budget and need somewhere clean and decent enough to sleep then this place will be fine. If you have the money spend just a little more then I implore you to do that. Expect a terrible night’s sleep, as most of the (cheap) vertical blinds are missing, and it’s not quiet outside. My partner got maybe 4 hours sleep in two nights. Soap dispensers were empty, there was no corkscrew in the kitchen (but an entirely mismatched set of glasses), TV wasn’t plugged into an aerial, no tea or coffee and to activate the hot water you have to press a button 45 minutes before you need it! The corridors smell like smoke, and if you can’t find me a surface or fitting in the whole building that isn’t scuffed, scratched or dented I’ll give you a fiver. It felt cheap and unpleasant at every possible turn. Like a property developer trying to make a quick, lazy buck on Airbnb. Avoid, avoid, avoid."
