"We engaged Vertex to repair our washer/dryer. They told us it would be a major repair, but would be covered under warranty. We paid more than £200 for the repair, but within a few months the machine broke with the same problem. After repeated calls which went unanswered, they finally came and took the machine away, saying they were waiting for a special part to arrive. Meanwhile they loaned us a washer only machine - which is not what we want. it has now been nearly a year and we still do not have our washer dryer, and nor can i get anyone to return our calls. It is a disgrace."

"They came to inspect my oven and quoted £150 for parts and the visit. I paid it off via bank transfer but they never showed up to complete the repair. Don't bother trying to call them or email because they will ingore you unless you are a new customer/victim. Scam! Tip: If you want to get through to them, use a different phone number so they don't recognise you and select 'new repair' in the option menu."

"Don’t use. We contacted a company called Glotech for our repair but unknown to us that they would outsource the oven repair to Vertex. Vertex came and advised we needed a new part (they do not keep stock of this essential common item). They mandated we pay the full amount for the first visit plus parts to order - but now after ridiculous amounts of trying they are unreachable although happily answer the phone for new enquires, go figure. We paid by bank transfer too - CAUTION if you do decide to use them then insist on Creditcard only so at least you have protection. Vertex - before you respond and say you recognise me, I am the landlord that regrettably asked my tenant to deal with your miserable company. Hard times out there right now and you are out cheating people, shame on you."

"BE AWARE>>>>2 engineers came to visit our house 2 months ago and said that my washing machine needed a new part. They charged me for the call out £96 and said this would include the replacement. They were meant to order a new part and then come to replace. Their mobile phone is now off, and they are not answering their landline. I have tried leaving messages, called over 20 times. Use this company at your peril!"

"Idris-you are a magician! I called at 3pm, you came at 8pm. Repaired my dishwasher not only with speed, but the total cost for call-out and parts was cheaper than just a callout for another company who have left me waiting for over a week ‘sourcing parts’. Highly recommended and next time any appliance of mine breaks you are the first call! Cannot recommend any higher. Fabulous on all levels"
