"Let's start with the easy part: I didn't eat there so I can't comment on the food. It's an interesting looking pub in a town close to where I'm often with my partner. Edenbridge, in my opinion, doesn't make the most of itself so doesn't have the sort of kerb appeal of the better towns. The pub, let's not forget I'm reviewing it, is located in an old building so was,possibly, an old coaching Inn. This place has a decent range of beers, wins and spirits and, according to my partner, the food is reasonable but not great. You'll have to take my partners word for that. My recent visit, in between Xmas and New Year saw a decent crowd in the pub on a Saturday afternoon and I did notice a roaring log/open fire but there were people sat nearby so I couldn't get in to what was probably a prime spot in the pub."

"My husband & I had a meal in the restaurant last night. The food was great & priced reasonably. We are vegetarian/ vegan and there was great choice, even a delicious vegetarian pie! The service was provided by a lovely friendly girl. We then went on to listen to the live band ( really good sound) & did some dancing ! Only comment was that a couple of the patrons were getting very drunk and being a nuisance on the small dance area.( May be should have been politely asked to leave & no more drinks served?) Really recommend this lovely pub & well done to its new owners …thank you & as we live local, we will definitely return soon."

"We dined here as a large group in the lead up to Christmas. We sat upstairs and although the area was a little cramped, it was beautifully decorated. The food was wonderful. Hot and fresh and came out in good time, considering there were so many of us. Our waitress was attentive and other members of staff checked on us regularly to make sure we were happy with our meals and asked if we required more drinks. There was a good atmosphere and the staff gave the impression that they cared about our dining experience and wanted us to have a good time."

"We stayed as were attending a family celebration in the area. The car park was difficult to find, but not a problem once you know. The rooms we stayed in were very clean, warm and well designed for an overnight stay. The pub was all decked up for Christmas, it was very festive and the resident cats and dogs mooching around added to the magical atmosphere. Couldn't fault the staff either, they were very friendly and helpful. There was a good selection of breakfasts to choose from in the morning and the food was of a good quality. Just wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the Christmas fair that was being set up in the town."
