Travelodge Birmingham Airport Terminal Road, Birmingham B26 3QW

"My partner and I desperately needed a place to stay after walking out of another nearby hotel where the bedding was so disgusting, bloodstained duvet and ancient bed, we refused to sleep in that particular hotel. It was approximately 11.30pm when we urgently phoned around any hotel we could spend the night in. After contacting four hotels that were fully booked we contacted the Birmingham Airport Travelodge. We were new to the area and several of the roads, motorways and slip roads, leading to the hotel were blocked off due to roadworks. As a consequence of being lost and roads leading to the Travelodge being blocked off we were really tired and stressed. Being aware of how tired we were, the time of night (now around 12.30pm) and stress we were under an employee named Lucian called us back and stayed on the phone for well over 40 minutes, talking us through directions on alternative routes to our destination. Without his persistence and patience it would have taken us hours to get there, perhaps we would have ever found it as the sat nav just kept taking us round in circles. When we were in sight of the hotel Lucian ended the call to have a hot chocolate ready for us on our arrival, by now it was around 02.00am the following day. He and Rachel, receptionist , greeted us in a very warm and welcoming way, they couldn’t have been more friendly and empathetic. Truly both Lucian and Rachel turned what was previously an horrendous situation into one where we’re able to get a good nights rest. My partner and I cannot thank these two employees enough. If only all workers were as astute and empathetic as they are. Again many thanks to them both."

"Lovely welcoming and helpful staff from evening staff to morning staff. Rooms clean and the hotel was convenient to the motorway and airport. I should of booked for 2 nights and for a twin room instead of double but good otherwise. Easy parking outside was great and convenient. They also do breakfast here too. I didn't try it but will next time."

"Staff very nice a helpful. It was very clean throughout. They serve hot food here, which I didn't realise until we arrived but had already eaten out. Parking was out the front of the hotel (main road view) and paying for parking was in a little shelter, if you stay at the hotel you use a discount code from reception staff. The domestic staff were fab when I needed more milk for a tea, it was no problem for them and I didn't have to wait long either. All in all well worth it especially if you were flying out somewhere as there are shuttle buses to the airport."

"Stayed overnight 21/10/22 before flying from Birmingham International. Staff were brilliant and food was really tasty too. Rooms were well decorated and had everything my partner and I wanted. Hotel although slightly difficult to get to from train station does have free shuttle service to the terminal running ever 15 minutes. Will recommend to anyone flying from Birmingham International ✈️ and will stay again soon."

"Lovely, clean room with a double bed facing the airport. Plane photos and videos tomorrow before all I can scoff English breakfast. Nice chorizo pizza tonight and some lovely Guinness. Happy as a pig in the proverbial."
