"I didn’t watch the show but I’m befuddled by the comments here. Really odd. I just stayed there for two nights and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Maria and Phil are so lovely and they make you feel like family. The rooms are tidy and beautifully decorated. The grounds are really nice and lovingly cared for. I’d definitely return"
"IGNORE ALL 1 STAR REVIEWS A lot of what people have 'reviewed' has been based on perception following 4 in a bed. None of these people have stayed at The Spinney. We stayed for 1 night and the hospitality was 5 stars. The decor is lovely but the star of the show is the outdoor setting. There is a lake with a fountain with a little boat you can use. There's chairs and a wood burner as well as a pizza oven. Perfect for families and I would definitely stay again. Thank you for the walk welcome and being very accommodating."
