"I have been a client of House & Jackson’s for around 8 years and since August 2022 the service has dramatically declined. My beloved dog sadly died in November and since, I have hand delivered two claim forms to the office not only have they no idea where they have been placed (having not been processed) the nurse, Sam Brown, was EXTREMELY rude to me and even hung up the phone whilst trying to explain the situation. She basically called me a liar, spoke over me, was completely rude and hung up!! I cannot believe it. I am disgusted by her behaviour and terrible customer service. The lack of care and understanding from her is appalling. My dogs treatment at Billericay was poor back in August and no wonder with staff like this Sam… a nurse with no empathy, communication skills and just plain rude! I will be making a formal complaint also to the practice as she is a let down to the rest of the team who are actually nice, having also spoken to Molly in the same conversation who was understanding and actually trying to help. What a terrible advert for your beloved animals care with an aggressive rude uncaring nurse, Sam…. absolutely disgusted!! No one should have to deal with this at a time of losing their beloved pet!! Outrageous :("

"I was told to socialise my puppy despite her not having full vaccinations. She was put on a diet for 12 weeks, and lost 1kg, when she should have been increasing her weight. No discount given despite being a puppy club member."

"This company House and Jackson is just about the money and not the animals, I have spent thousands at this vets with my cat Hugo over the years and my last visit which was for my puppy, I asked if I could get worming treatment for my cat Hugo. I was told NO because he had not been to visit a vet at H&J for 2 years, Yes that's because he is in good health. So they want me to pay £50 to bring my healthy cat for a check up to get simple worming treatment. I'm going elsewhere, This vets is jaded and just about money and not very caring."

"Sadly on my last visit I had to have my cat put to sleep. He had cancer. And was getting a lot of pain. He was so brave and hid his illness so well as cats do. The vet was so kind to us explaining it all. She let us say goodbye on our own she let us stay with him till the end. Worst day of our lives. Made a little better but kind people at House & Jackson."
