"I won’t recommend this place to buy heavy furniture like bed frame or wardrobe especially if you live alone. They dismantle it, but they don’t assemble it for you. Now I have to lie on floor until a person comes and fixes it which will happen only on next week."
"It's an awful place, needs investigating! I know it's a charity shop but I have also volunteered there so I know what it's like behind the scenes.. and it's not great. A bit overpriced for what it is when you bear in mind they got the stuff for free and are selling it at the maximum they can. Some stuff really isn't worth it. I've personally never purchased a sofa from there but if you're going to, I wouldn't pay that much! Oh and delivery is extra £35/50. Most of the stuff you see for sale there is just the TIP OF THE ICEBERG, there's a tonne in the basement you'll never get to see because EVERYTHING is over priced and they keep getting more stock for FREE!! If they weren't greedy, they'd have made millions for the charity and people would have the stuff they need too."
"Unfortunately I have to give only 1 star. I was recently at the store browsing the items and I believe some are very overpriced for the condition they are in. The store sells new furniture too but at a very expensive prices, so much so it defeats the purpose of a charity shop, which should be helping people on low incomes get affordable furniture while some of the money spent goes of for the cause of the charity. After all they are profiting from free items given to them. I actually wanted to purchase a set of drawers that day, I approached what I believe was a delivery person and asked how much it cost to deliver. £20 to deliver a £20 piece of furniture. Not even big companies charge that amount of money. Its shameful that this store keeps asking for volunteers, which is essential asking for people to work for free for then charge insane prices on pre owned items. With all that money lets hope the staff is at least well paid and the volunteers wont be needed."
"I brought a dining table and chairs from here but before they could be delivered we realised we no longer needed them. I thought it may be a problem and I have to take store credit but the lady said it was fine and gave me my money and delivery money back. I was very happy with this service. I have now brought large rug from here and also a childrens bed frame. I think they also sell new items."
"When I moved to Leicester from London, I was looking for cheap furniture for my first home. Found this shop while walking around the high street. Bought a sofa set, dining table and 2 double beds from there. All in 600 pounds. This is the best shop in Leicester to buy used furniture in very good condition ( nearly new )at very reasonable prices. Specifically very good deals on sofas, beds and mattresses. Visit this place once and you will not walk out empty handed...."
