"My car failed its MOT on Thursday afternoon, and I was told by Halfords that they wouldn’t be able to repair it until the following Thursday at the earliest. I was desperately ringing around locally to try and find an available garage to look at it, thinking best case I’d be able to bring a repair forward to early next week, but no chance am I going to be able to get it sorted before the weekend. This was a disaster given I work in emergency services, I had work all weekend, and my shifts are all over the place, so finding a lift is a challenge in itself. The guys at Beaconlea were so kind on the phone given I was very obviously having an awful time, and let me bring the car in that same day to check it out. Then, they were kind enough to squeeze the repair in the next morning for me. Given that I was obviously desperate, it would have been easy for them to bump the price up and charge me through the nose, but they didn’t. The whole experience was a lifesaver, they were so polite and helpful, and the cost was more than reasonable. I really can’t thank them enough for helping me out when I know they were busy themselves. You’re now officially my favourite garage in Bristol!"
