Please note that currently, a rāhui (temporary prohibition) is in place until further notice. The Department of Conservation (DOC) is actively investigating the area and conducting testing. For more information and to check which tracks are closed, please visit our website. Situated 17km south of Tauranga along the Te Puke Highway, our park offers a variety of activities and attractions. The main walking track starts from the car park on Poplar Lane and takes you to the trig station, standing at an elevation of 224m. This track winds through the stunning native bush and open farmland, showcasing the terracing on several historic Māori pā sites. At the summit, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic coastal view.
