"Unfortunately, parts have been washed away, and it is no longer as clear as it was. You will need to be moderately fit as there are quite a lot of stairs."
"Beautiful location, pathing down is extremely steep and honestly not for the feint of heart. If you're like me, don't forget your antihistamines... my eyes and body itching all over afterwards! Otherwise, great spot for a relax! I walked across the other side, over the shallows and ended up having a small picnic with my girlfriend for NYE. Romantic little spot if there's nobody else there!"
"A very low key spot just on the outside of te puke. A nice crisp and clear fall with plenty of room for swimming, doesn't get very busy either. Once you park at the top I suggest making sure no valuables are left In the vehicle as it would be very easy for people to steal while down at the fall. The track does require a Decent amount of fitness as it is steep the whole way down and coming up is a very hard incline and can be very challenging at times so I suggest only going down if your willing to take the challenge getting back up."
"Amazing spot. Great for swimming but is cold (it’s a river) and does get deep quick so really young kids would need close supervision. Easy to walk across (fording river) to opposite bank which is sunny side in afternoon. Is 30min round trip but very steep up/down with lots of steps and stairs (man made and uneven tree roots) - so not for the unfit. Pretty tidy when we were there but idiots still need to take out their rubbish (and council obviously does little weekly maintenance)."
"Easy short hike, fairly steep however, and around 15 minutes. Water is freezing, even in summer, but well worth it! Crystal clear and clean. There is a rope to pull yourself up the waterfall itself, and it's quite a fun jump down (just don't dive as it's not too deep)."
