At Christchurch Anxiety & Depression Therapy, our therapist is a trained Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Mental Health Nurse with over 18 years of experience in the field. In addition to our private practice, we also work as a Brief Intervention Therapist, providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in G.P practices for various presenting problems such as anxiety, depression, and work stress. We specialize in extended sessions of CBT for more complex presentations, including OCD and PTSD.
Our therapist's background in mental health nursing and previous experience in acute psychiatric wards in Christchurch and the U.K provides a unique perspective when dealing with workplace stress and other related issues. We understand the challenges individuals face in their professional lives and can offer valuable insights and strategies to overcome these difficulties.
Outside of work, our therapist is a dedicated parent to two teenagers and a loving wife. When not in the office, you may find her enjoying the beautiful views at Porters Ski field, as she acts as a taxi driver for her children. As a family, they engage in regular activities such as camping and spending quality time together. However, watch out for her son's jump scares around the house!
