We are excited to announce that starting from September 12th, 2023, the primary test for cervical screening, previously known as a "smear" test, will now be an HPV test with the option of self-testing. This new screening method is more accurate in detecting individuals at a higher risk of developing cervical cancer. To learn more about this important update, please schedule a nurse appointment or contact our Practice Nurse for additional information.

In order to ensure the well-being of our community, we have added the Bexsero vaccination, targeting Meningococcal B, to the routine childhood vaccination schedule. Catch-up vaccinations will be available for children under the age of five. Additionally, Bexsero is funded for individuals aged 13 to 25 years who are entering or residing in close-living situations such as boarding schools or halls of residence.

For adolescents and young adults who are entering close-living situations within the next three months or in their first year of living in such environments, we offer the Menactra vaccination, which protects against Meningococcal A, C, Y, and W.

We are pleased to introduce our new partners at Practice Plus, providing another option for after-hours GP appointments. If a virtual consultation with a GP outside of regular hours is more convenient for you, Practice Plus is available on weekdays until 10pm and on weekends and public holidays from 8am to 8pm.
