Welcome to The Hillier Centre, located at 31 Gloucester Road in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, we strive to provide support and assistance to families going through challenging times.

At The Hillier Centre, we understand the devastating impact that unsafe homes and broken families can have, particularly on children. That's why we offer counselling services to help guide you through these tough times. Our team of trained and experienced family workers are available at all of our Family Works sites to walk alongside you and your family, helping you make positive and lasting changes.

One of our programs, WAVE, focuses on building your inner strength and empowering you to take the necessary steps to ensure the safety of your family. We also have trained SWiS workers who work in partnership with schools and communities to support your child's overall well-being and development.

If you have concerns about the effects of abuse on your child, we provide free counselling for children, young people, and their families who have been affected by any form of abuse. Our goal is to create a safe and supportive environment for everyone involved.

For parents going through separation, we offer Parenting through Separation group sessions led by trained programme leaders. These sessions provide a space for you to discuss your parenting issues and receive guidance and support.

The Hillier Centre is dedicated to helping children feel safe at home and supporting those impacted by family violence. Our Restore program is designed to boost the self-confidence of children and young people aged 5 to 17.

In addition, we provide 2,324 emergency food parcels every year. However, we rely on the support and donations from our community to continue this vital service. By contributing, you can help us put food on the tables of families in need today.
