"I found The Manse an atmospheric, elegant and romantic place to stay. The amount and quality of the breakfast provided was a pleasant surprise. We had an open fire that was set and ready to light. Helen the manager was very friendly and gave us a guided tour. The Manse is a short walk to the main shopping areas but is quiet. I hope to return soon."

"A wonderful and great value hotel with a lot of character. If you are looking for a sterlie, uniform chain-style hotel then this is not for you, however if you want something unique, interesting and don't mind spot of dust then this is a great choice. The amount of food, snacks and wine alone made it worth it, the spectacular view tips it to an easy 5 stars!"
"What a beautiful accommodation! The room was quaint and charming. Love the fireplace. It kept the room toasty all night. My only complaint though not a big deal was that I wished our room had a standing shower. We had the hand held shower head propped up on the towel rail above so that worked out ok."
