"Lawson Lodge now holds a special place in our heart as it is where we held the most beautiful wedding with our friends and family. The golfing, lake, pool, glamping tents, beautiful sunset, activities, comfortable beds and all facilities were very much enjoyed by us and our guests. The rose garden was gorgeous for our ceremony, and we loved waking up to the beautiful views of the lake, enjoying a coffee on the patio of our private 'fishing hut' accommodation. We loved extending the celebrations with our nearest and dearest beyond just the wedding night as we had the property for 3 nights total. "Corporate retreat, hosts were great, grounds were pretty and a little disappointed the weather was damp. Hot tip, the “romantic” fishing lodge is a definite NO GO zone. Next to a lake, 100,000 bugs, basin is outside, shower is outside, toilet is outside. Did I mention 100,000 bugs. Use a can of spray on them then they die on the beautiful white sheets on the queen bed. In theory it’s wonderful and secluded, in practice - stay in the main lodge. Apart from that, awesome!"
