"Great decor for aquariums and pretty decent bird stock from what I can tell but what really drowns the place in mud is the treatment issue of fish and and other aquatic critters for example I went there a while ago and found they had axolotls in stock which I was glad to see a place in Bendigo that sells them I’ve had them in the past 4 years and learnt to love ‘‘em so to my shock coming in to see at least 20 stuffed in one tank and another tank with atleast eight neither tank could’ve been larger than 80 litres it was just not right to see something like it for anyone who isn’t sure why this would be an issue search up how many axolotls can I keep within a 100 litre tank or just show up and see for yourselves the state their feet were in (or the lack of feet at that) or how large they should be compared to how large they are I’m reluctantly still shopping at the store but I have to say birds r us if you can’t treat the fish the same way as you do the birds then you either need to step it up ethically or just look at the creatures with some common decency and take a step back from the large scale selling of aquatic animals"
