"Nice family friendly park with stunning sunset views over the lake"
"Enclosed Playground, toilets, open areas, BBQs, seating, on the Lake, great bike and walking path, parking.... what more do you want?"
"Great family outing venue. Great place for a picnic, had a BBQ, enjoyed a scenic walk along the fully paved pathway parralel to the lake. We loved the majestic abundance of angophera (gum) trees, some looked as if they were 70 years old."
"Another really lovely spot to explore on the Central Coast. I went from Tuggerah so it was about a 20min drive. It was fairly busy but I went on a Saturday morning. The weather was beautiful, the path is wonderful and the views are stunning. At the beginning there is a fully fenced playground for the kids and some seating areas for picnics. There's also plenty of trees for shaded areas. The walking path is lengthy and we came across a house that provided a water bowl for dogs which was lovely. Parking availability isn't huge but I didn't have a problem at the time. Overall a very nice spot to enjoy a walk or a bike ride."
"We have had many a picnic here. Edgewater Park is a neat little public park. It has a nearby boat ramp, a public toilet and a kids playground. There is also plenty of room to kick a ball around or a game of cricket. The cycle path goes through the park so there is lots of great walking available. It is a magnificent spot for photography, especially for sunsets. The only downside is the current state of the lakes. Strange fact - the whole park was once all houses, but mine subsidence was an issues, so the powers that be remove the homes and converted it into the park we have today."
