"My recent visit to Featherdale Wildlife Zoo was an absolute delight, exceeding all expectations and earning a well-deserved five-star rating. This wildlife sanctuary provided a truly immersive and unforgettable experience. Feather dale Wildlife Zoo boasts an impressive range of Australian animals, giving visitors a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the country's most fascinating creatures. From kangaroos and koalas to crocodiles and Tasmanian devils, the diversity of wildlife at Featherdale is truly remarkable. The enclosures at Featherdale were thoughtfully designed, allowing the animals to thrive in naturalistic environments. It was heartwarming to witness the excellent care provided to each animal, and it was evident that their welfare was of utmost importance. The highlight of my visit was the opportunity to encounter and interact with some of the animals firsthand. Feeding the kangaroos was an incredible experience. The chance to have a close encounter with native reptiles left me with unforgettable memories. Featherdale Wildlife Zoo also prioritizes visitor comfort and enjoyment. The layout of the zoo was well-planned, with clear signage and ample seating areas. Clean facilities and well-maintained paths added to the overall positive experience."
"A compact zoo experience. Easy to get around. Great value for families. Close encounters with different animals. Loved the koalas! Well worth the visit!"
"Busy but good.. you used to be able to take photos with the koalas as part of the entrance, now they charge extra and won't allow you to take a slightly different photo without charging double.. so a tad disappointing that they just keep milking as much money as possible. Love the Aussie wildlife, they look well fed and healthy. The birds look a bit sad to be stuck in the cages but also healthy and well. The staff were friendly and helpful"
"As a non-Australian, I really enjoyed my visit to this park. Right from the outset you are greeted by small kangaroo which you can feed for $3. They are adorable and the experience is a lot of fun for children and adults alike. Besides that you get introduced you all of Australia's famous fauna such as wombat, tasmanian devil, emu and more. There's also a great reptile section with a collection of Australia's unique lizards and snakes. Overall great experience as a tourist and would definitely recommend."
