"Experiencing the traditional Chinese architecture and culture, good for if you just want a 20mins walk and picnic. Or you can also enjoy the tracks in that area. Plenty of space for parking. Highly recommended for family and friend activity or just enjoy yourself."
"Chang Lai Yuan Gardens in Sydney is a hidden gem that's not to be missed. This beautiful garden is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city, offering visitors a chance to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy some serene natural beauty. Best of all, the gardens are pram accessible, making them an ideal destination for families with young children. As you enter Chang Lai Yuan Gardens, you'll immediately be struck by the tranquility of the space. The garden is filled with winding paths, lush greenery, and serene water features, creating a sense of calm and relaxation that's hard to find in the city. Whether you're looking to enjoy a quiet stroll, meditate in a peaceful space, or simply take in the natural beauty of the area, Chang Lai Yuan Gardens has something to offer. One of the best things about the gardens is their accessibility. The paths are well-maintained and flat, making them easy to navigate with a pram or wheelchair. This means that families with young children can enjoy the gardens without worrying about their little ones getting tired or fussy. There are also plenty of benches and rest areas throughout the gardens, providing a place to take a break and relax. But the true beauty of Chang Lai Yuan Gardens lies in its carefully curated landscape. The gardens feature a range of traditional Chinese plants and flowers, including bamboo, wisteria, and lotus flowers. These plants are arranged in a way that creates a sense of harmony and balance, reflecting the principles of traditional Chinese garden design. Throughout the gardens, you'll also find a range of traditional Chinese architecture and sculpture. From the beautiful pagoda to the intricate rock formations, these features add to the sense of cultural immersion that visitors experience at Chang Lai Yuan Gardens. But perhaps the most striking feature of the gardens is the lake at its center. The lake is surrounded by lush greenery and dotted with water lilies and lotus flowers, creating a peaceful and serene space that's perfect for quiet reflection or relaxation. Visitors can even take a boat ride on the lake, providing a unique and immersive experience that's hard to find in the city. Overall, I would highly recommend Chang Lai Yuan Gardens to anyone visiting Sydney. It's a beautiful and peaceful destination that offers a unique and immersive experience of traditional Chinese culture and design. With its pram accessibility and range of facilities, it's also a great destination for families with young children. So if you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful oasis in the heart of the city, be sure to check out Chang Lai Yuan Gardens. You won't be disappointed!"
"A really beautiful place. Though the photos are beautiful, it doesn’t do the gardens justice. 2 weddings were on the day I went - a perfect place for it."
"Located inside Nurrangingy Reserve. Well worth the stroll to see these authentic structures. Amazing granite creations. Stroll through. Get your selfies. Plenty of other locations in this park. Come for a walk, bring your takeaway lunch, bring your picnic, bring your bbq stuff. An oasis in the surburban jungle."
"Not bad for a short walk, but it is exactly that. Takes about 5 min to circumnavigate and appreciate the bridge and 2 accompanying structures. Wasn’t much of a waterfall, and the algal bloom was terrible. Lots of people, so you have limited photography options. Worth stopping by if you want to enjoy the larger surrounding park. Definitely not worth it as a destination point though, as the other reviews may have you believe."
