"A good place for a weekend away with a large group away from neighbours. Comfortable beds with linen and towels provided. The place was clean overall. However it could do with some repairs in some places."
"Great weekend away, very large house with enough room for 6 couples, inground pool was amazing and great games of tennis on the court.... but the house is getting a little old now. Theres a few things need attention dishwasher not working, shower screen missing in bed room, spa bath not working.. there are canoes but they are old and the creek can only be excess on high tide..bring your own tennis racket and balls.. Like i said great weekend away not worth the money i give it 2.0 stars"
"Group of 16 friends stayed here late October. We had a fantastic time using facilities - playing tennis, going kayaking (and even caught some fish) and swimming. The pool was awesome. We didn't start the campfire on the property as it was too hot a day. We cooked the fish and other meats on the BBQ in the pool area and then watched the rugby final on the big screen. Can certainly recommend this place to others - we had a ball."
"Potentially a good place but poorly maintained. Fridge had only one shelf, Coffee machine had not been cleaned and was mouldy. The outside had not been cleaned and was full of dirt, mould and cobwebs. The pool looked like it was indoor but is just covered with mesh. There is pool heating but the owner was adamant it not be turned on and so the pool was not able to be used. The tennis court was ok but any bit of water and it was like an ice rink due to the slippery mould. Make sure you have repellant as it backs onto still water and the kids got eaten alive by mosquitoes. The beds were very comfortable. Overall poor value for money"
"Stayed here weekend of 6/8 February 2015, our group of 12. Large property with plenty of room, but unfortunately it is in need of some serious maintenance, as property presents as old and jaded. David is very helpful, but we found several maintenance issues, which should have been attended to, such as dishwasher not working, toilet pedestals not set to ground (x2), shower screen missing, bedside lights not working, BBQ difficult to light etc. Don't get the impression that we are a group of whingers, it is just that when you are paying top dollar for this type of property, we expect it to be of a high standard, with management checking that everything is working BEFORE guests arrive."
