Starting from 1 July 2023, the BBQ shelter area in Wangal Park will be available for hire. This picturesque location is perfect for hosting a variety of events, whether it's a lively birthday party, a relaxed family or friends catchup, or even a team-building event for your work colleagues. Equipped with two double burner BBQs, six fixed tables, and ample seating, the BBQ sheltered area offers a comfortable and convenient space for your gathering.
We are conveniently located at the corner of Cheltenham Road and Royce Avenue in Croydon, New South Wales. Our park is easily accessible, ensuring that your visit is hassle-free. Whether you're a local or a visitor, we invite you to come and experience the tranquility and beauty of Wangal Park.
Please note that there may be disruptions to Sydney Bus services on Victoria Street, Burwood, due to emergency road works. Victoria Street is currently closed until further notice between Burwood Road and the entrance to Westfield Burwood, with bus detours in place. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

"This is a fantastic park. It is huge and has a lot of space for jogging / exercise, kids play area barbecue and picnic. I have been here many times and I have never found it crowded. It is not too difficult to find a parking spot nearby. The park is beautiful and very well maintained and the toilets are clean."
"This is an awesome park. I couldn't believe it when I found it. They have a little wetlands area which I beautiful and it is so relaxing to listen to the animal sounds. They also have a great playground with a big flying fox, bbq facilities, public toilets, skateboard equipment and exercise equipment. The park is fairly big. It's amazing but don't go there because I want it all to myself."
"It's pretty much all finished. This is now a great local park. Lots of play facilities for all ages. Play ground. Exercise equipment. Bike path. Flying fox. Basketball and netball court. Grass volleyball court with a net!! Only small thing is not a big flat grass area for ball games. Good toilets. Plenty of bbq spots. Good shade areas. But the best bit is the reclaimed swamp marsh area for walking and exploring. It can close a bit early (6:30 the gates close in September I'm not sure at other months). I didn't see a lot of parking area apart from street parking."
