About the Business
Welcome to Olds Park, a charming establishment located at Penshurst, Forest Road, 624. As a park and point of interest, Olds Park offers a delightful escape from the bustling city life, making it a must-visit tourist attraction in Australia.
At Olds Park, we strive to provide a variety of amenities and activities for our visitors to enjoy. Our Neighbourhood Maps feature an interactive map that showcases the numerous cycling and walking routes throughout the picturesque Georges River area. Whether you're an avid cyclist or simply enjoy leisurely strolls, there is something for everyone to explore and appreciate.
If you're looking to make a casual park booking, our convenient Casual Park booking form is available for you to complete and return. For detailed information regarding the use of public land, we encourage you to refer to Council's Local Approvals Policy. Additionally, our Frequently Asked Questions page offers valuable insights into the facilities available at our park and reserve.
We kindly request that public-made mountain bike tracks are not created on public land. These tracks can have detrimental effects on the environment, including disturbance to native vegetation, impacting fauna habitat, introducing weeds, and causing soil erosion and stormwater pollution. Furthermore, they pose risks to public safety if Council is unaware of their existence. We urge community members to report any tracks they come across and be mindful of their impact on both the community and the environment.
While biking on roads and fire trails is permissible according to the Plan of Management (POM), creating new tracks or trails in bushland areas is strictly prohibited. This activity can cause harm to the environment, leading to the destruction of endangered and native flora and the natural landscape. It also poses potential safety concerns for other park users. To report the creation of new tracks or jumps, you can utilize the Log It/Fix It option on Council's website or download the Georges River Council app for easy reporting.
If you have any specific issues or concerns you would like to address, we recommend raising a Customer Service Request. This ensures that your matter is directed to the appropriate teams and allows you to track the progress of your issue.
As we appreciate and respect the rich Indigenous heritage of the land, Georges River Council acknowledges the Bidjigal people of the Eora Nation, who are the Traditional Custodians of the land, water, and sky in the Georges River area. We pay our respects to their Elders, both past and present, and extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who reside, work, and gather on these lands.
In conclusion, Olds Park offers a serene and captivating environment for visitors to relax, explore, and appreciate the natural beauty of Australia. We invite you to immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere of Olds Park and create lasting memories amidst the stunning surroundings.

"My in-laws and I love it here, all the open areas, equipment and sections are all great. It's a beautiful place with little to no litter. It has Cricket cages, track and field activities, a playground, outdoor gym equipment, basketball and netball courts and a skate park. Toilets have always been open when I've been there; it also has an approximate 1km loop with many joggers, bike riders and roller-skaters etc. Upd: Came back recently to find that about 30% of the whole park is under renovation/construction, not sure what they are working on, but there are no more basketball or netball courts at the moment."
"A wide open place for games and a nice trail for morning and evening walk."
"It's a very nice and big playground with ample parking. This ground has 2 big cricket grounds, a basketball court, a football ground and a huge walking track."
"Playground, golf, soccer and more! Olds park has so much to offer. There are: * Small playground for younger kids * Picnic tables (covered and uncovered) * Football field * Golf net * Walking/ bike track * Loads of grassed netball courts (all nets come in 2 heights with lower one perfect for beginners) * Cricket nets and cricket pitch * Skate park * Fitness circuit along the bike path There are toilets near the carpark too. There are heaps of different birds to spot as well. You'll regularly spot corellas, sulfur-crested cockatoos and the common starling. Weather you want a casual stroll on your own, to play a group sport or just want to keep the kids entertained, this park has a bit for everyone. It's our go to place when catching up with friends with kids."
"Plenty of parking space within the library and park's - parking section. Ample space for walk/cycling/and all other sports. Get accompanied by lushful green and fresh nature. Two toilets (m & f), water dispenser x 2, parking x 2, and huge area for being healthy!"
