"This camp ground is clean, the toilets were clean (and had toilet paper, score). They were long drops but good enough for a secluded camp ground. It was very handy having fire pits already built into the ground. The scenery was absolutely amazing, loved seeing the kangaroos and birds feel comfortable around my self and fellow campers."
"Secluded Coorongooba campground is the ideal place to pitch a tent, relax and recharge in the dramatic World Heritage surrounds of Wollemi National Park. Set on the crystal clear Capertee river, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to splash about in river pools, enjoy invigorating walks along the Capertee river trail, or just soak up the natural ambience with a good book. The Capertee is usually shallow but if there’s been rain, why not try your hand at liloing? The Capertee river trail is also a great place for birdwatching. It’s close to a breeding site for the endangered regent honeyeater, so if you’re there during spring, keep your eyes open for fledglings learning to fly. Watching the afternoon light change with a cup of steaming bush tea brewed on the wood barbie rounds off this wonderfully simple camping experience."
"Went earlier this week. Stunning scenery! Great facilities. Will definitely come back! Bring your own water tho. Warning ⚠️ spotted a few snakes trying to soak up the sun before hibernating this winter. Couldn't tell if they were red bellies or blue bellies, but try to avoid going off the treks and be careful around the toilet blocks. If you leave them alone then they will leave you alone. Also spotted wombats with mange too. So avoid getting close to them."
"Amazing energy. Lots of space. Lots of cute kangaroos and the two rivers merging is just the best place to sit and splash all day (for both kids and parents)"
"Very well looked after, large campground in a very scenic spot. Cool to be surrounded by towering cliffs and millions of stars. Kangaroos everywhere and goannas too. Didn't see wombats but they are commonly seen also apparently. The river is unfortunately very shallow so great for kids to splash in but not so good for adults."
