"Jump in. Plenty of parking on the area."
"And we’re back in the water for another season of hunting down great swimming spots, kicking off with this beauty. Bilgola means swirling waters, and the waves crashing over the sides of this 1960s concrete rockpool illustrate this well. They create a great swim spa effect at the western end, who needs fancy technology! Nestled under the cliff face at the southern end of Bilgola Beach, it’s quite beautiful, with 8 unmarked 50 metre lanes and an extra wading section making for an unusual shape. The pool is positioned parallel to where the surfers are catching their waves, creating endless entertainment watching great rides and wipeouts alike. Best to get here early as the limited (and expensive) car parking was almost full when we arrived at 10am. It has all the things: outdoor showers, good change rooms, plenty of places to sit and a popular cafe (Zubi at Billy's) serving breakfast, brunch and lunch. There’s a lot to like about this one. This was our first swim here but we’d happily return."
"Hidden little gem on the Northern Beaches. Great for a little serene escape from reality regardless of all weather conditions. Explore the rocks behind the rockpool :)"
"This rockpool is awesome, even more so when it's clean!! Big enough for laps. The larger half is quite deep receipt for the sea end, the smaller half is ok for kids. Concrete structured floor I think, but I was in the deeper pool the whole time, so I didn't really feel or see the ground much anyway! Bilgola rockpool is one of the better ones! And not too far from carpark."
"Gets pretty busy in Summer as it's a nice pool. There's a kids area which isn't as deep. The main pool is nice and deep. In Winter it's still popular for the hard core swimmer and the beach is nice with showers, etc nice and close. Love it here."
