DB Boarding was founded over 25 years ago by Devon Bayly, a young vet nurse who recognized the need for a cat boarding service among our veterinary clientele. While much has changed since then, our commitment to providing a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for cats remains unwavering.

At DB Boarding, our dedicated staff is committed to providing the best care possible for your beloved feline companion. We take the time to get to know each cat individually and ensure that their unique needs are met. Whether your cat enjoys basking in the sun, receiving affectionate head butts and chin tickles, prefers to be independent, or loves playful interactions, we cater to their preferences. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff closely monitor each boarder, keeping a keen eye out for any signs of discomfort or illness. Rest assured, if any issues arise, we will provide the necessary attention, whether it's extra cuddles, a change in diet, or a visit to the on-site veterinarian.

Understanding that cats thrive on routine, we strive to minimize changes by sticking to their regular diet. We kindly request that you provide us with details of your cat's dietary preferences on our Admission Form. We offer a range of premium feline diets, including Advance, Hills Science, Hills Prescription, and Royal Canin Veterinary diets. Additionally, we have a variety of Whiskas soft food available. For finicky eaters, we encourage you to bring along their preferred diets.

Our dedicated staff is experienced in caring for cats with special needs, such as those requiring medication for hyperthyroidism, high blood pressure, kidney issues, or urinary tract problems. With our veterinary clinic located on the same premises as the cattery, any medical concerns or emergencies can be promptly addressed by our duty veterinarian.

Please note that a medication surcharge, ranging from $1.50 to $3.00 per day, applies. We are also equipped to care for diabetic cats, so please contact us for further details.

To ensure the health and safety of all our boarders, we require all cats to have current Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu (F3 or F4) vaccinations. A certificate must be presented prior to admission. Additionally, we strongly recommend that cats have up-to-date FIV (Feline AIDS) vaccinations.

Our staff are not only dedicated but also obsessed with cats. We understand that cats are full of energy and are accustomed to running around and engaging in play. Most cats settle in quickly, but we pay special attention to those who may need a little extra love and care. We encourage owners to bring along familiar toys from home to help ease the transition.
