Welcome to Catmandu Motel for Cats, a professional and friendly cattery located in Burwood, Melbourne. With over 9 years of experience, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your feline friends.

When you entrust your cat to us at Catmandu, you can rest assured that they will be pampered and cared for as if they were our own. Our clean, spacious, and luxurious suites are designed to make your cat feel right at home. Each room is equipped with warm beds, comfy pillows, and a variety of toys for your cat to enjoy.

Catmandu was established in 2012 and has been under the ownership of Caitlin since March 2019. With over 8 years of experience in caring for cats, Caitlin is passionate about providing the best possible care for her furry guests. Stacey, who joined our team in 2019, brings additional expertise from her work at the lost dogs home cattery and as a locum vet nurse. Both Caitlin and Stacey are dedicated cat lovers who will shower your fur babies with love and attention.

At Catmandu, we understand that each cat has their own unique personality and preferences. That's why we offer single, double, and triple rooms to accommodate their needs. As cat lovers ourselves, we know exactly how to care for your fur babies and ensure they feel comfortable during their stay.

We also take your cat's dietary needs seriously. We offer a wide range of wet and dry food options to suit each guest's specific diet.

If you're worried about leaving your pet behind while you travel, let us take care of them in your stead. We guarantee to provide the same level of care and attention that you would.

Please note that our peak periods include all school holidays, the Easter Long Weekend, and the Christmas and New Year period. Our Christmas peak period runs from December 20th to the end of January. Long weekends are considered off-peak.

Our opening hours are as follows: Monday to Friday from 9am to 1:30pm and 4:30pm to 5:30pm, Saturday from 9am to 1pm, and Sunday from 10:30am to 11:30am (by appointment only). School holidays typically run from early-mid April, end of June through early July, and end of September through early October.

For check-ins and check-outs, weekday check-ins are from 2pm to 5:30pm and check-outs are from 9am to 1pm. Saturday check-ins are from 12pm to 1pm and check-outs are from 9am to 11am. Sunday check-ins are from 11:30am to 12pm and check-outs are from 10:30am to 11:30am.
