"Wow! From the moment we drove down the driveway, I was instantly taken back. I can honestly say this is the first place we have ever stayed where I've been genuinely lost for words the moment I arrived. Dealing with Michael up to the stay date was simply sensational. Being a first time Riparide stayer, I naturally had many questions to which Michael answered all in a very timely manner. The location is positioned just far enough away from the suburbs that you can enjoy the tranquility of the beautiful forest yet just close enough to do shopping, buy food etc. Please, please do yourself a favor and stay here. My only vice was that I should have booked longer. I am counting down the days for the next opportunity to stay here."

"Friends and I had the most gorgeous weekend nestled in the forest at Olivia's. We woke to bird song each morning and enjoyed watching the sunset on the verandah, warmed by the fire. The house is so well appointed and cosy. We can't wait to come back for the next stay and have already agreed to making this an annual event. I highly recommend this wonderful place."

"Well I was so disappointed I had to cancel my booking to Olivia’s due to health issues but my beautiful girls rebooked and took me for me birthday week. It was everything I needed beautiful comfortable bed wet room down stairs which accommodated me very well as I now use a walker to get around and require a shower chair which fitted nicely into the shower. Breakfast provisions provide were lovely along with a well appointed pantry and kitchens. The overall experience of the outdoor area, the fire pit,birds,scenery was delightful I loved it so much I definitely would like to go back"

"Spent an amazing time with my fiance the week before Christmas (got engaged at Olivia's). The house is beautiful, surrounded by forest and lots of birds that were the best entertainment. It was a perfect place to recharge after a busy year."

"We stayed as a family of 5 at Olivia's in the Forest for two nights in September, and we all had an AMAZING stay! Firstly, the location was just what we had expected and hoped for - a peaceful, quiet getaway from city life. The only sounds you get are those from nature, like the different birds' chirping in the morning which we absolutely loved (the guidebook with different descriptions of the birds was super helpful!). As the description mentions, there is no Wifi and mobile coverage is limited. We took a short while to get used to it (being so used to the "always connected" city life), but after that we realized that this enabled our family to have a wonderful "disconnected" space to spend time together. We made full use of the board/card games Michael and Laurel provided, and simply sat round the warm dining & living area having good chats and wine. The house was extremely clean and comfortable, with enough space for everyone. Our family also enjoyed cooking in the super well-equipped and lovely kitchen. Michael and Laurel have really gone the extra mile to make their guests feel at home and we would not hesitate to come back when we need a refreshing getaway. Thank you!"
